It was a month ago since Robin and Erik landed their feet to Jakarta, Indonesia. A super duper hectic, busy, multicultural and crowded city. Such an illustration which make u think twice to have a peaceful holiday. But it just a figment for Robin and Erik. They choose Jakarta, Indonesia as their holiday destination, instead of Singapore, Malaysia, or any other cities in South East Asia.
Surprised? Amazed? Astonished?
Don't be, cos you know my friend? Our city, Jakarta, Indonesia has all the good things that other countries can not even dreamt off. They're tryin to be like us, act like us, or even steal our belonging (once again) to be exactly like us... But here I tell you guys, that how hard they try, how difficult it is they won't be like us, not even close. (now I sound like a real patriotic nasionalist one:) )
About how I love my country so much and it's peculiarity.. I'll write the details later..
One thing for sure, that made Robin came back to Jakarta and brought his friend, Erik along (which leads to another love story, hoho) is a kinky, boyish girl named Angie. My super duper lovely college friend.
Robin loves that girl so much. That's it. So he took a flight from a far far away, cold land, Netherland to a warm one, Indonesia. Just to meet his girl.. ooh wat lief he? (sweet isn't it?!)
From that simple reason, Robin and Erik's story in Jakarta begin. They meet some old friend and some new people. Have a great journey with great people. Experience great things and through thick and thin. Also the untold stories which clasified rated xxxx ;P. Ze hebben alles geprobeerd (they've experience everything). But as Nelly Furtado told in her song, 'all good things (must & should) come to and end', so does they.
25th July 2009, they took plane, back to the city where they're belong. But one day before, 24th, they made a farewell party at Hanamasa, Mahakam invited Remko (and his family), Mathijs (and his GF), and 'Gank Jogja'. Not a sad farewell one, but a brutal, happy, crazy, full-of-laugh one.
I'll try not be melodramatic now, so here's my note below from both of them :
"Afscheid nemen bestaat niet", ~Marco Borsato~
Farewell doesnt exist. So does when u guys, Robin and Erik left us back to Holland.. Our body separated, but our heart and soul are slurring... Too many things we've done and shared when u guys around.. Happy, one word which explain everything. Happy just because God is just tooo kind letting us know each of you better and depper..
This isnt goodbye.. coz I do believe there will be tomoro when we agree to have another journey together, there will be tomoro when we teach Robin and Erik some naughty Indonesian words, there will be tomoro when we dont care about people arround us and keep joking like we cant even shut our mouth...
Yep I do believe.. that there will be tomoro...
when U guys are coming here again...
saying "gw asik bro" (with that stupid gebaren ;) not in miles miles far away from here, but right in front of us..
Yep, cos I do believe it..
Do you??!
